Right of withdrawal

You can change your mind within 14 days, and you do not have to give a reason. The period runs from the day after you — or someone you have nominated — took possession of the work.

Send a message to studio@ingemundsen.com saying that you wish to use your right of withdrawal. It needs to be clear, but it does not need to be formal — an ordinary email is fine. You may use the form below if you like, but it is not required.

It is sufficient that the notice is sent before the period expires.

Return the work without undue delay and no later than 14 days after giving notice. You bear the direct cost of the return.

Please pack the work carefully. You may examine it as you would in a gallery, but charcoal on paper is fragile.

If its value is reduced because it has been handled beyond what is necessary to examine it, the seller may deduct a corresponding amount from the refund, under section 25 of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.

You will be refunded the purchase price and the original shipping cost no later than 14 days after the notice is received. The seller may withhold the refund until the work has arrived, or until you have documented that it has been sent — whichever happens first.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to works made to your specifications or given a clear personal character, cf. section 22(e) of the Right of Withdrawal Act. In practice this means commissioned works. Works already made and offered for sale here carry the full right of withdrawal.
